On July 1, Eliza turned eight months old. Her eighth month was a little rough, to be quite honest. We were sure she was getting teeth, as she was very grumpy, sad, and fussy for the last two weeks of June. She was cute as a button but ornery as a bear. And she slept like a newborn, waking every three hours to eat...not fun for mom! I was actually starting to forget what happy Eliza was like, and started wondering if my happy baby had just been a figment of my imagination!? But eventually she pulled out of it and was back to her happy self. And at nine months she still has no teeth...so, teeth or no teeth, she just wasn't feeling too hot back then. But we decided to keep her anyway and we're sure glad we did...we love our sweet little Melman! At eight months Eliza was officially on the move...she mastered the army crawl, and has been into absolutely everything ever since!? She is one busy little girl!
