On Tuesday morning we woke up bright and early at 7am, via our alarm clock, Sullivan. We had breakfast at a street cafe around the block and then took our hotel shuttle to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The aerial tram was amazing. The floor of the tram rotates slowly, providing you with a 360 degree view. Amazing! And the views of the rock canyon walls? Spectacular!
At the top of Mount San Jacinto, we strolled down one of the hundreds of hiking trails. There was still spotty snow here and there, and the trails weren't particularly stroller friendly in all areas, but we made do. It was gorgeous up there. Definitely a jewel to the city of Palm Springs. I would be up there ALL the time if I lived here.
And then we came back and swam in the pool and ordered super nachos for lunch, poolside. It was fabulous. And Sullivan received his first lesson in sunbathing. He picked it up pretty quick.
Though vacationing with a baby isn't without its moments...Sullivan hates wearing a hat, wants to jump in any water he sees, and wants to ride every bike he sees. But we're still glad he's here with us. He keeps things from getting boring, and he's pretty adorable...even when he's throwing a fit!? :)
