We let him open his presents from us that morning...a Dusty-the-plane shirt, Dusty shoes, a remote control Dusty the Plane (yes, we're really into Planes lately!?), a turbo snail toy, and a styrofoam rocket. He was pleased as punch...
Then we took cupcakes to his daycare class and for dinner we got pizza and crazy bread and went to eat/play at the Jump Zone with cousins Kevin and Claire (and uncle Patrick and aunt Sally). Sullivan had a great day and we had so much fun trying to make his day special. Four-year-olds are so easy to please.
Eric has connections at the Sport's Academy gymnastic's gym, which is Sullivan's all-time favorite place to play (he calls it the BIG Jump Zone), so we couldn't resist getting all his little friends together to run wild and play for a morning. It was so easy to plan and put together and we all had so much fun...
And how cute are these invites? Thank you Etsy.com...
Granny Stacie made the birthday cake, and did an amazing job. For whatever reason, they do not sell Dusty-the-Plane cake molds, so she bought a generic plane mold and turned it into Dusty herself. Definitely impressive! I am always blown away by her creations. No pinterest cake fails for this Grandma! :)
Happy Fourth Birthday Sullivan!! You are the best boy and we love you more than words can say!!
