We had gone out to the American West Heritage Center at the beginning of October (see here) to enjoy the fall festivities, with just our little family. Later in the month a few of our friends wanted to go, and since we had so much fun the first time, we were more than happy to go a second. And I must say, going with friends was a blast.
We visited the animals and played on the hay fort...
Then we rode the ponies, which was probably the best event of Sullivan's short life thus far. He couldn't wait to get on and threw the biggest fit when he had to get off. He loved it, and we loved watching him love it...minus the fit afterwards!
And of course we had to go on a few train rides...
The best part of the night, for me, was watching these two little love birds walk around hand-in-hand all night long It was too adorable! Lily is so sweet to Sullivan, and Sullivan is in love with Lilly. While Sullivan won't do a thing we say, he'll gladly follow Lilly to the end of the earth. Lilly was a great "babysitter", and Sullivan was happy to oblige her every request. It was win-win for everyone. And I just love these pictures of these little friends...
After seeing all the sights and doing all the activities, we came back to our place for soup in bread bowls...delish! And now there is snow on the ground. And I am really missing those beautiful fall days. Fall just never lasts long enough!
