It is December 1 and my house is decorated and my Christmas tree is up (this has got to be a record!). And thanks to my wonderful sister Heather for providing me with two bins full of her Christmas ornaments and garland, my tree actually looks pretty darn good this year, if I do say so myself...
I know multiple people who are completely done with their Christmas shopping (I am so jealous!), while I have just barely begun!? While the shopping task is always a bit daunting, I am comforted by thoughts of work parties, and friend parties, and neighborhoods all lit up, and hot chocolate, and presents under the tree for my boy to rip open and destroy when I'm not looking. I am SO excited for the holidays this year!

Your tree looks amazing!! I think I need to come see it in person. And I need to see you - I miss you! When I get back from vacation, you'll be hearing from me:)
I've barely started my shopping, which is a record for me in the opposite direction of my usual routine! Oh well! Roll with it!
